The National Association of Media and Publishers (ANME) Proudly Launches the “Carte des Stades بطاقة الملاعب”: A Seal of Modernity and Professionalism for Moroccan Sports Journalism
Driven by a strong commitment to excellence and the unification of sports journalism in Morocco, the National Association of Media and Publishers (ANME) has taken a significant step forward by officially announcing the launch of the prestigious “Carte des Stades بطاقة الملاعب”. This ambitious project, unveiled during a solemn media event, carries the inspiring theme “A New Era in the History of Sports Journalism”, promising to revolutionize the industry.
Idriss Chahtane, President of ANME, emphasized the importance of this card, which will now serve as the sole means of access for sports journalists covering national competitions. He affirmed ANME’s determination to protect the profession from exploitative and commercial practices, highlighting that this initiative marks a pivotal shift towards the deep restructuring and elevation of standards within Moroccan sports journalism.
Younes Moujahid, President of the Provisional Press Regulation Commission, welcomed this advancement with shared enthusiasm, describing the card as a “decisive step” toward the necessary modernization of the sector, aligning it with international standards. “Organizing the sector has become indispensable,” he remarked, calling for rigorous criteria that will enhance the image of national sports journalism.
Mustapha Amdjar, Director of Communication at the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, also supported the initiative, describing it as an essential contribution to elevating sports journalism and driving the profession to unprecedented levels of quality.
The technical director unveiled the card’s technological features, which include an embedded electronic chip ensuring authenticity and secure access. This innovation provides holders with privileged access to stadiums while enabling rigorous oversight to maintain a professional environment.
Through this initiative, ANME aims to transform Morocco’s sports journalism sector into a model of transparency, professionalism, and integrity, setting new benchmarks for excellence in the industry.
