The CSPJ and ISIC Sign a Strategic Framework Agreement

A strategic framework agreement was signed on Wednesday between the Supreme Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) and the Higher Institute of Information and Communication (ISIC) at the Council’s headquarters in Rabat, marking a new era of collaboration and exchange.

According to a joint statement, the agreement was signed by Mr. M’hammed Abdenabaoui, Deputy President of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, and Mr. Abdellatif Bensfia, Director of the Higher Institute of Information and Communication (ISIC). It aims to establish a general framework for cooperation and partnership between the two institutions. The goal is to coordinate efforts to enhance the communication skills of judges and court spokespersons while deepening the legal and judicial knowledge of journalism students and media professionals.

This partnership includes training programs for court spokespersons from various jurisdictions across the Kingdom, focusing on equipping judges with skills specific to the spokesperson role. These skills include drafting press releases and statements, participating in talk shows, managing social media platforms, and digital communication. Additionally, ISIC has committed to creating specialized divisions for judges and Council staff, as well as jointly organizing scientific and intellectual events.

For its part, the CSPJ has pledged to contribute to the training of journalists and media professionals on legal and judicial issues related to its roles and missions. The Council also aims to promote the dissemination of legal knowledge tailored to journalism for the benefit of journalism students and to strengthen collaboration in the development of research and studies on topics of mutual interest.
