Second Visit of Montreal’s Soccer Lionceaux Academy to Morocco

After the success of last year’s experience, Montreal’s “Soccer Lionceaux” Academy is returning to Morocco for a visit from December 25, 2024, to January 5, 2025. During this stay, its U-20 women’s team will play several friendly matches against clubs from Casablanca, Rabat, and Marrakech.

The Canadian team is set to face AS FAR, FUS Rabat, Wydad Casablanca, Union Casablanca, the Casablanca League selection, and Hassania Marrakech.

According to the schedule, an opening ceremony will take place next Saturday at the “Green Park” complex in Bouskoura. On this occasion, prominent women from the fields of management and media will be honored. An exhibition match will also bring together a selection of players from Wydad, Raja, Union Casablanca, and Rachad Bernoussi.

It is worth recalling that last year’s ten-day tour left a very positive impression on the members of the Canadian delegation and their families. This success has encouraged the continuation of this initiative led by the academy’s president, former Moroccan player Aziz Serbane, who played for Rachad Bernoussi and Renaissance Settat.
