Kenyan President to Pay a State Visit to Morocco: The “Final Blow” to the Algerian Regime and Its Puppet, the Polisario

The imminent announcement of Kenyan President William Ruto’s State Visit to Morocco after Ramadan is already sending shockwaves through the Algerian regime. This official visit, marking a historic and strategic turning point in relations between Rabat and Nairobi, delivers a resounding slap to Algerian diplomacy, which has spent decades desperately trying to impose its false narrative on the Moroccan Sahara issue.

Since assuming office in September 2022, William Ruto has shaken Algiers by initially announcing Kenya’s withdrawal of recognition of the chimerical “SADR,” the puppet entity of Algeria’s military regime. This bombshell immediately triggered panic in Algiers, prompting the regime to mobilize its diplomatic apparatus and allies to pressure Nairobi. Succumbing temporarily to Algeria’s and South Africa’s maneuvers, Kenya later backtracked on its stance, leaving its diplomacy in a state of ambiguity.

However, this visit to Morocco exposes an undeniable reality: Algeria cannot endlessly buy influence or manipulate African states with petrodollars. The Kingdom’s diplomatic strategy—based on solid economic partnerships and mutually beneficial cooperation—utterly dismantles Algeria’s desperate efforts to impose its separatist agenda.

Algeria’s Diplomatic Failure on All Fronts

Algeria, which fantasizes about being Africa’s hegemon, now finds itself isolated and discredited. Incapable of presenting a credible vision for the future, the Algerian regime resorts to an aggressive foreign policy, using threats and blackmail to influence vulnerable governments. But reality is unforgiving—African nations are no longer deceived.

With the signing of new agreements between Kenya and Morocco, particularly in strategic sectors such as agriculture and industry, Morocco’s economic supremacy on the continent is further cemented. The Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP), a leading global player in fertilizers, is on the verge of finalizing a fertilizer plant project in Kenya, strengthening the country’s food security and deepening economic ties between Rabat and Nairobi. Meanwhile, what does Algeria offer? Nothing but empty promises and meaningless rhetoric.

A Cornered Algerian Regime

The Algerian military regime, unable to meet the legitimate aspirations of its own people, clings desperately to its anti-Moroccan obsession. Instead of building a prosperous future for its citizens, it squanders resources on futile propaganda and unsuccessful attempts to destabilize Morocco. But the truth is out—Algeria is losing ground, and its influence is crumbling in the face of Morocco’s proactive and enlightened diplomacy.

With William Ruto’s upcoming visit, another humiliating defeat looms for Algiers. The time has come for the Algerian regime to confront reality: its separatist project is doomed to failure, and its policy of isolating Morocco has never been more meaningless. Morocco, strengthened by its strategic alliances and commitment to Africa’s development, continues to forge ahead—leaving Algeria to drown in its contradictions and impotence.
