On Tuesday, the 10th day of Ramadan 2025, Morocco solemnly commemorated the 66th anniversary of the passing of the late Sovereign, His Majesty King Mohammed V, an iconic figure in the struggle for independence and the father of the Moroccan Nation. In a spirit of remembrance and spirituality, the Association of Moroccans for Tolerance (AMT), presided over by Mrs. Suzanne Abittan, organized a Ramadan Ftour on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the emblematic venue of the Cercle des Anciens Élèves de l’Alliance Israélite.

This exceptional event brought together a distinguished gathering of personalities, reflecting the deep ties of coexistence and fraternity that unite the Kingdom. Among the esteemed guests was the Consul General of France in Casablanca, Mrs. Pascale Trimbach, along with numerous prominent figures from the consular, political, and artistic spheres, as well as representatives of civil society organizations committed to promoting intercultural dialogue.

More than just a meal to break the fast, this Ftour was a vibrant celebration of the values of tolerance and mutual respect that define Moroccan identity. It brilliantly embodied the humanist legacy of the late HM King Mohammed V, whose enlightened vision continues to inspire a Morocco devoted to its cultural and religious pluralism.

Under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Kingdom continues on this path of openness and unity, setting an exemplary model of coexistence on both regional and international scales. This tribute, marked by a sincere spirit of fraternity, reaffirms once again Morocco’s unwavering commitment to its heritage of coexistence and peace.
