Minister Delegate in Charge of National Defense Administration Receives Ivorian Minister of State, Defense Minister
Rabat - In execution of Very High Royal Instructions, Morocco's Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of the National Defense Administration Abdeltif Loudyi received, on Friday at the headquarters of the administration, the Ivorian Minister of State, Minister of Defense, Téné Birahima Outtara.

The Ivorian Minister of State is on a working visit to the Kingdom, accompanied by a high-level delegation. This visit is part of the efforts to bolster and diversify bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
A military cooperation agreement was signed on the occasion between Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire in the presence of the Ivorian Ambassador to Rabat, according to a statement from the National Defense Administration.
The agreement provides for enhanced military cooperation, particularly in the fields of training, exercises, military healthcare, technical assistance, and the exchange of expertise across various areas of mutual interest.
During these talks, Loudyi highlighted the Royal Initiative aimed at transforming the African Atlantic facade into a hub of economic integration, peace, stability and shared prosperity, by including the continent’s Atlantic countries, and enabling Atlantic Access for landlocked Sahel Countries.
For his part, the Ivorian Minister of State emphasized the highly strategic and priority nature of the partnership between Côte d’Ivoire and Morocco. He also praised His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s commitment to South-South cooperation, in support of African partners.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties voiced their shared ambition and will to strengthen relations by implementing the provisions of the Military Cooperation Agreement signed on this occasion, reflecting ties of friendship and mutual respect that unite the two countries, the statement concluded.
