Rachid Talbi El Alami Holds Talks in Rabat with a Senior Official of the Chinese Communist Party
The President of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, held talks on Tuesday in Rabat with Mr. Li Shulei, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party.
During this meeting, Mr. Talbi El Alami praised the distinguished relations between Morocco and China, as well as the quality of bilateral parliamentary cooperation. He highlighted the exchange of visits, the sharing of experiences and expertise, and coordination within international forums as testimony to the strength of the strategic ties between the two countries, according to a statement from the House of Representatives.
The meeting also provided Mr. Talbi El Alami the opportunity to review the major development projects launched in the Kingdom under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the statement added.
Emphasizing Morocco’s prominent role at both the continental and international levels, Mr. Talbi El Alami affirmed that respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states is a fundamental principle of the Kingdom’s foreign policy.
For his part, Mr. Shulei welcomed the historical and cultural ties between the two nations, stating that his visit to the Kingdom would provide strong momentum for bilateral cooperation and lead to further achievements, particularly in the economic, social, cultural, and scientific fields.
