Conventional Framework, One of Fundamental Tools of the Kingdom’s Foreign Policy- FM
Rabat - Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, stated on Monday before the House of Representatives that the conventional framework constitutes one of the fundamental tools of the Kingdom's foreign policy, emphasizing that His Majesty King Mohammed VI has consistently reaffirmed that the importance lies not in the signing of agreements, but in their implementation.

Responding to a question from the Authenticity and Modernity group on the evaluation of international agreements, the Minister noted that Morocco has concluded nearly 7,500 international agreements, two-thirds of which were signed under the reign of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
In this regard, Bourita pointed out that the monitoring of the implementation of agreements relies on several mechanisms, notably bilateral mechanisms such as joint commissions with partner countries, “which are essential tools to support the implementation of commitments,” as well as follow-up carried out by the relevant government departments “to ensure the execution of these agreements.”
He added that directives are issued to His Majesty the King’s ambassadors in various countries “to make supporting the implementation of the conventional framework a key element in ensuring the credibility of Morocco’s signed commitments.”
In this context, Bourita stressed that Morocco currently has around 800 economic agreements capable of generating a significant impact in its bilateral relations, thanks to the facilities and incentives they offer, particularly in the economic field.
