Morocco’s Govt. Head Launches Foreign Trade Roadmap for 2025-2027
Casablanca - Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch chaired on Wednesday in Casablanca the official launch ceremony of the Foreign Trade Sector Roadmap for the 2025-2027 period.

This roadmap is structured around 3 strategic objectives, notably the creation of some 76,000 new jobs, the expansion of the export base through creating 400 new export companies each year, and reaching an additional MAD 84 billion in the export sector.
At the ceremony, Akhannouch emphasized that this roadmap aims to establish a coherent and ambitious framework for promoting this vital sector, making it a true lever of economic and social growth for Morocco.
“It is in this spirit that our country, in perfect harmony with the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, has made the resolute choice of economic openness, driven by profound conviction that integration into international trade is a fundamental lever for economic growth,” he further stated.
“Through this roadmap, we aim to generate additional export sales of over MAD 80 billion. It also strives to broaden the exporter base, in order to hit an average of 400 new exporters per year”, the Head of Government added.
To this end, an integrated and participatory approach has been adopted for the implementation of the roadmap, which includes a set of cross-cutting measures such as strengthening exports from the craft industry and the social and solidarity economy, as well as creating regional foreign trade support offices in all regions of the Kingdom.
Akhannouch reiterated the government’s commitment to ongoing implementation of various scheduled projects, thus consolidating Morocco’s position on the international stage and benefiting from its large potential in the export field.
