Casablanca: National Airports Office Celebrates the Artistic Creativity of DGSN Officers
On Thursday, May 29, Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca hosted the inauguration of an art exhibition featuring works by officers of the General Directorate for National Security (DGSN).

Organized by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Social Welfare of National Security Officers, this exhibition is part of an initiative to encourage police officers to engage with culture and artistic creation. It showcases around thirty works representing various artistic movements and styles, all created by members of the national security forces.
For the National Airports Office (ONDA), this cultural event serves as an opportunity to honor the security agents who ensure daily airport safety and smooth operations, thereby contributing to an improved passenger experience.
The opening ceremony brought together officials from the DGSN, the Mohammed VI Foundation, and ONDA.
On this occasion, Taoufiq Sitri, Director of the Mohammed VI Foundation, emphasized that the exhibition reflects a partnership between the Foundation and ONDA. He highlighted that the initiative celebrates the talents of 27 artists from various national security divisions, aiming to bring their artistic expression to light in a major public space that welcomes nearly 10 million travelers annually.
Sitri also announced plans to organize similar exhibitions in other national airports, in line with the DGSN’s goal of promoting culture and creativity in the professional environment and revealing a lesser-known side of the men and women in uniform to the public.
Hicham Rahil, Director of Mohammed V Airport, praised the initiative, noting that it allows travelers to discover the artistic sensitivity of DGSN officers outside their official duties, within a symbolic space of movement and exchange. He also commended the DGSN personnel’s daily commitment to ensuring security, order, and quality service at the airport, underscoring their crucial role in providing a smooth, safe, and pleasant experience for travelers.
Open to both the public and passengers, this exhibition is part of the “Airports 2030” strategy, which aims to enhance and revitalize airport spaces. By introducing a cultural dimension to Mohammed V Airport, the initiative reinforces the identity of this strategic hub while highlighting the essential role of national security personnel in the functioning of Morocco’s airports.
The Mohammed VI Foundation continues its mission to support and promote the artistic and cultural talents of its members. This exhibition embodies a human-centered and holistic approach to DGSN’s work, demonstrating that professional dedication can go hand-in-hand with cultural fulfillment and creative expression.
