Taleb Bouya Aba Hazem Appointed Inspector General at the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family
The Government Council, convened on Thursday, June 5, 2025, in Rabat, marked a significant milestone by approving—under Article 92 of the Constitution—the appointment of Mr. Taleb Bouya Aba Hazem as Inspector General of the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family. This is a well-deserved recognition for a man whose exemplary journey embodies the values of solidarity, selflessness, and public service.

Born in 1971 in Tan-Tan, southern Morocco, Taleb Bouya Aba Hazem was raised in a traditional family renowned for its contributions to Qur’anic education and the spread of knowledge in rural Saharan areas. From a young age, he was instilled with values of sharing and humility—principles that have shaped his lifelong dedication to social work.
Holding a PhD in Development Sociology, along with a distinguished academic background in economics and public law, Aba Hazem began his career early with the National Cooperation Foundation, which he joined in 2000. From his beginnings at the central administration in Rabat to his roles as regional delegate in Tan-Tan and Guelmim, and later as regional coordinator in Guelmim-Oued Noun, he has stood out for his discipline, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to vulnerable populations.
Both a man of the field and a committed intellectual, Mr. Aba Hazem has always succeeded in blending administrative expertise with social conscience. His work aligns closely with the spirit of a “social Morocco,” driven by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, particularly through major reforms in social protection and national solidarity.
His appointment to the strategic position of Inspector General comes at a pivotal moment as the Kingdom intensifies its efforts in social cohesion, inclusion, and the fight against inequality. It also sends a strong message to all professionals in the social sector: that merit, experience, and sincere commitment are recognized and rewarded.
In addition, Mr. Aba Hazem is a passionate educator, having taught social and solidarity economy as a guest lecturer at the Higher School of Technology in Sidi Ifni for the past two years. His ambition? To one day return to academia full-time and share the fruits of two decades of fieldwork, reflection, and responsibility with future generations.
All stakeholders in the social sector have welcomed this appointment with enthusiasm, confident that Mr. Aba Hazem’s discipline, humanity, and vision will bring new momentum to the work of the Ministry’s General Inspectorate.
Sincere congratulations to Mr. Taleb Bouya Aba Hazem on this well-earned promotion, which honors an outstanding career and serves as an inspiration for a whole generation.
