Club World Cup: Wydad Casablanca Takes Off for the United States
Wydad flies to the United States this Tuesday for the Club World Cup Wydad de Casablanca will represent Africa at the Club World Cup, scheduled from June 14 to July 13 on American soil.
Wydad will compete in Group G of the Club World Cup, a particularly tough group as it includes Manchester City (England), Juventus (Italy), and Al Ain (United Arab Emirates).
It is against the Citizens, European champions in 2023, that the Casablancans will begin their journey, on June 18th at 5 PM (Moroccan time). This meeting constitutes a historic moment for the club, determined to honor Moroccan football on the global stage.
The stakes are twofold: to represent the African continent with dignity and to show that the clubs of the Kingdom have their place at the highest level.
