President of the House of Representatives Meets with INTOSAI and OECD Working Team
The President of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, held talks on Wednesday in Rabat with a working team from the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), currently visiting Morocco from June 10 to 13.
The discussions focused on the major reforms and national projects underway in the Kingdom under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as well as the specificities of the Moroccan parliamentary experience in light of the 2011 Constitution. The two sides also addressed the various areas of cooperation between the House of Representatives and the Court of Auditors, according to a statement from the House.
The INTOSAI and OECD working team, composed of Anne Leliépault, Fahad Alohali, and Jean-François Leruste, is visiting Morocco as part of an international study on the independence of supreme audit institutions, the statement added.
