Mauritanian Minister of Defense Receives Moroccan Military Delegation to Strengthen Medical-Military Cooperation

The Mauritanian Minister of Defense, in charge of Retirees and Families of Martyrs, Hanana Ould Sidi, received on Tuesday a high-level Moroccan military delegation at his office in Nouakchott. The delegation was led by Lieutenant General and Medical Inspector of the Health Services of the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco, Dr. Mohamed Mohamed El Abbar.

The meeting took place as part of the joint military commission program between Mauritania and Morocco, and focused on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of military medicine.

Also present at the meeting were Colonel Pharmacist Mohamed Mohamed Taleb Jedou, Director General of the Health Services of the Mauritanian Armed and Security Forces, and Colonel Sheikh Mohamed El Amine Ballal, Director of External Relations at the Ministry of Defense.

The session concluded with an exchange of symbolic gifts and a commemorative photo session between both sides.
