Muharram 1st of New Hegira Year 1447 to Correspond to Friday – Ministry
Rabat - Muharram 1st of the new Hegira year 1447 will correspond to Friday, June 27, 2025, announced the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs on Thursday.
In a press release, the ministry confirmed that the lunar crescent of the month of Moharram has been observed at sunset on Thursday, 29 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH, corresponding to June 26, 2025.
Therefore, the 1st of Moharram 1447 AH will correspond to Friday, June 27, 2025, the same source added.
