Morocco to Face Tanzania in Women’s AFCON Warm-Up Match
Rabat - Morocco’s national women’s football team will face Tanzania in a friendly match on Saturday at Rabat’s Olympic Stadium, as part of preparations for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2024).

The match, set to kick off at 8:30 p.m., is part of head coach Jorge Vilda Rodriguez’s final tune-up ahead of the continental tournament, which Morocco will host from July 5 to 26.
The Atlas Lionesses have been drawn into Group A alongside Zambia, Senegal, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Morocco will open the tournament against Zambia on Saturday, July 5 at 9:00 p.m.
Group B features Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria, and Botswana, while Group C includes South Africa, Ghana, Mali, and Tanzania.
