Moroccan Fintechs Take the Spotlight at the 2025 Immersive Fintech Day by Attijariwafa Bank & KPMG

Wenov, the innovation arm of Attijariwafa Bank, in partnership with KPMG Morocco, hosted the second edition of the Immersive Fintech Day—a landmark event dedicated to innovation in financial services.

Held on June 30 in Casablanca, the event built on the success of its inaugural edition last year. Among the key participants was Mustapha Lahlali, Executive Director of the Morocco Fintech Center.

Bringing together prominent players from Morocco’s fintech ecosystem alongside top executives from Attijariwafa Bank and its subsidiaries, the event aimed to bridge the bank’s operational needs with the concrete solutions offered by local fintechs.

Eight Strategic Themes Driving Collaboration

This exclusive gathering centered around eight key areas: retail banking, corporate and investment banking, cybersecurity, human resources, compliance, ESG, digital innovation, capital markets, and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services.

Through immersive workshops and interactive feedback sessions, participants explored real-world use cases, uncovered innovation levers, and laid the groundwork for future collaborations. The day concluded with B2B networking sessions and a business-focused cocktail dinner, offering a platform for meaningful exchanges and partnership opportunities.

The initiative allowed stakeholders to dive deep into the major technological challenges shaping the future of the financial sector, while also highlighting the vibrancy and potential of the Moroccan fintech ecosystem.
