CAF Opens Investigation on Algerian Women’s National Team
Cairo - The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Thursday evening the opening of an investigation against Algeria's women's national team for alleged violations of CAF statutes and regulations, in connection with the ongoing Women's African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) held in Morocco.
“CAF will not make any further comment on the matter until the process is finalized,” the African body said in a press release.
