Bastille Day Celebration: French Embassy in Morocco Hosts Grand Reception at the Residence of France in Rabat
On Monday, July 14, the French Embassy in Morocco hosted a grand reception at the Residence of France in Rabat to mark France’s National Day, welcoming more than 2,700 guests.

Attendees were received by the French Ambassador to Morocco, Mr. Christophe Lecourtier, the Consul General of France in Rabat, Mr. Olivier Ramadour, and Navy Captain Damien Lopez, Defense Attaché at the Embassy.
In his remarks, Ambassador Lecourtier highlighted the significance of the historic State Visit by the President of the French Republic to Morocco in October 2024. “Together, Morocco and France are unafraid of ambition. We are determined to aim high. In a world in crisis, in a region searching for direction, we will build something truly unique,” he declared.
The Embassy was honored by the presence of Mr. Mohamed Saad Berrada, Morocco’s Minister of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, as well as Ms. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, who represented the Moroccan government at the event.
The ceremony was enlivened by musical performances from renowned Moroccan artist OUM and the musical group Dakhla Casa Express.
