Palestinian Official Hails Morocco’s Steadfast, Vital Support for Palestinian Cause Under HM the King’s Leadership
Rabat - Ahmad Said Ahmad Al-Tamimi, Head of the Human Rights and Civil Society Department and member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), praised Morocco's "steadfast and vital" support for the Palestinian cause, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds committee.

In a statement to the press following his meeting on Tuesday in Rabat with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, Al-Tamimi praised the “centuries-old relations” linking Morocco to the Palestinian national authority.
He also commended the “continuous support” that Morocco has consistently provided to the Palestinian cause under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and during the reigns of the late Sovereigns, His late Majesty Mohammed V and His late Majesty Hassan II.
He pointed out that discussions with Bourita covered several issues as regards the Palestinian people, including the repercussions of the Israeli blockade, the unfreezing of Palestinian Authority funds, and the cessation of Israeli violations at border crossings.
Furthermore, Al-Tamimi stated that he had informed Bourita about the situation in Al-Quds and the Israeli acts against Palestinians, commending in this regard the role of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in defending the holy city and supporting the resilience of the residents of Al-Quds.
