French Delegate Minister Nadia Hai Visits Morocco to Strengthen Mediterranean Cooperation

From July 14 to 17, Morocco welcomed Nadia Hai, Ambassador and Interministerial Delegate for the Mediterranean, for an official visit marked by strategic discussions and forward-looking partnerships.

In Rabat, Ambassador Hai held meetings with several senior Moroccan government officials, including Fatima-Zahra Mansouri, Minister of National Territory Planning; Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth and Culture; Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Minister of Digital Transition; and Nizar Baraka, Minister of Equipment and Water.

The high-level talks focused on key shared priorities across the Mediterranean: sustainable development, digital transformation, water management, smart urban planning, and youth inclusion. These are all critical areas where Moroccan-French cooperation aims to set a regional example.

In Casablanca, the French diplomat continued her visit with a focus on the economic sector, notably through a meeting with Chakib Alj, President of the CGEM, underscoring the central role of business in strengthening bilateral ties.

Through this visit, Nadia Hai showcased the vitality of the partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the French Republic, and reaffirmed their joint commitment to building a more united, resilient, and prosperous Mediterranean.
