Royal Air Maroc and French Consulates Launch Groundbreaking Visa Partnership
In a move to strengthen human ties between France and Morocco, a landmark visa agreement was signed on Monday, July 21, 2025, between Royal Air Maroc and the French Consulates General in Casablanca and Rabat.
The agreement was signed by Pascale Trimbach, Consul General of France in Casablanca, and Olivier Ramadour, Consul General in Rabat. It marks a significant step forward in facilitating visa access for employees of Morocco’s national airline.
Key provisions of the deal include dedicated weekly appointment slots and priority processing for visa applications. This is the first visa partnership of its kind to cover the entire Moroccan territory, signaling a major advance in easing legal and professional mobility between the two countries.
The initiative aligns with the vision of a strengthened exceptional partnership, as championed by President Emmanuel Macron and His Majesty King Mohammed VI, aimed at fostering more accessible and mutually beneficial people-to-people exchanges.
