HM the King’s Enlightened Vision Contributes Greatly to Africa’s Development – Head of CEMAC Parliament

Rabat - The enlightened Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI has greatly contributed to Africa's development, said the President of the Parliament of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC), Évariste Ngamana.

In an interview with MAP as part of the lead-up to Throne Day celebrations, Ngamana emphasized that since His enthronement, His Majesty the King has launched significant initiatives for Africa, which have earned widespread recognition across the continent.

“His Majesty the King’s clear-sighted Vision represents a model of win-win cooperation across the world,” he stated.

“His Majesty King Mohammed VI is a visionary Leader for Africa. From the outset of His Reign, the Sovereign has made major contributions to the development of both Morocco and the continent, fostering South-South cooperation and the economic growth of Africa.”

In this respect, the Central African official cited the Royal Initiative to enable Atlantic ocean access for Sahel countries and the African Atlantic Gas Pipeline project, both of which he described as “models of African integration.”

He further pointed out that the African Atlantic Gas Pipeline project, which will cross around fifteen beneficiary countries, will contribute to the socio-economic development of these states.

Ngamana also noted that the major port project in Dakhla will open the Kingdom’s Atlantic front to other African countries and serve the continent from the Sahel region, thereby enabling a significant economic leap not only for those countries but also for landlocked states, including the Central African Republic.
