Zakaria Aboukhlal is set for a new chapter in his career. The Moroccan international has left France’s Ligue 1 to sign with Serie A side Torino FC on a four-year contract. The news, reported by several French outlets on Tuesday, indicates that the deal is worth around 10 million euros, including bonuses.
The 25-year-old winger, who has earned 22 caps with the Atlas Lions, successfully completed his medical, confirming his move to the Italian club based in the Piedmont region.
After making his name in the Netherlands and proving himself in France, Aboukhlal had become a key player for Toulouse FC since joining in 2022 from AZ Alkmaar. He scored 7 goals in Ligue 1 last season and played a major role in helping TFC win the 2023 Coupe de France—the club’s first major title.
