El Salvador’s First Lady Visits Lalla Asmaa Foundation’s Hearing Diagnosis & Rehabilitation Center in Rabat

Rabat - The First Lady of the Republic of El Salvador, Gabriela Rodríguez de Bukele, visited on Monday in Rabat the Hearing Diagnosis and Rehabilitation Center of the Lalla Asmaa Foundation.

On this occasion, Rodríguez de Bukele attended a presentation on the various activities of the Center, which reflects Morocco’s commitment to the inclusion of deaf children under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the impetus of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Asmaa, President of the Foundation.

Inaugurated in March 2024, the Center includes a mother-and-child area, pediatric consultation rooms, ENT consultation rooms, speech therapy facilities, psychomotor therapy and psychology services, audiometry and auditory evoked potentials units, as well as an infirmary.

El Salvador’s First Lady also received detailed explanations on the latest possibilities for remote adjustment and activation of cochlear implants, as well as on cochlear implant technology.

At the end of her visit, Rodríguez de Bukele signed the Center’s Guest Book.
