On high instructions of the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, General of the Army Corps Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone, on Monday at the headquarters of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces received Bryan J. Ellis, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for African Affairs, who is visiting the Kingdom of Morocco from 11 to 13 January, accompanied by a high-level official delegation.
The Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for African Affairs mainly discussed the issues and areas of military cooperation that will be examined during the next meeting of the Defense Consultative Committee, which will take place in 2026 in Washington DC, according to a statement from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
