US Airport Security finds “black magic sorcery objects” in the luggage of the Senegal national team!

A heated controversy erupted this Tuesday, June 9, after images circulated on social media showing members of the Senegal national team undergoing security checks upon their arrival in the United States, host country of the 2026 World Cup.

The widely shared videos show players and staff members waiting on the tarmac near their luggage while security agents carry out thorough inspections. Some sequences also show checks using handheld detectors. At this stage, no official explanation has been provided by the U.S. authorities, FIFA, or the Senegalese Football Federation. Several international media outlets have merely reported the existence of these enhanced security checks.

Meanwhile, screenshots circulating on social media attribute to The Washington Post information claiming that “ritual objects” and “amulets” were allegedly discovered in the luggage of the Senegalese delegation.

Indeed, according to The Washington Post, security services at an American airport were reportedly completely puzzled after discovering in the Senegalese delegation’s luggage a mysterious arsenal: gris-gris, unknown powders, colored feathers, and a calabash carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, as well as amulets and other unfamiliar ritual objects associated with witchcraft practices.

“We were prepared to find football boots, jerseys, and energy drinks,” a fictional agent is said to have declared. “But it was the first time our scanner detected items identified as ‘traditional psychological reinforcement’!”

Meanwhile, coaches of major footballing nations are said to be growing concerned. Some are reportedly already considering adding a new role to their technical staff: fitness coach, video analyst, nutritionist… and exorcism consultant.
