23rd Session of the Morocco–France Joint Military Commission Held in Paris
On the High Instructions of His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, General de Corps d’Armée Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone, headed an important military delegation and co-chaired, with General Fabien Mandon, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the French Republic, the 23rd session of the Morocco–France Joint Military Commission, held on 9 and 10 December 2025 in Paris.

This meeting takes place in a context marked by renewed momentum between the Kingdom of Morocco and the French Republic, reflecting the shared ambition expressed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and President Emmanuel Macron during the historic visit of 2024, according to a statement from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
During this session, the Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and the Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces welcomed the excellence of Moroccan–French military cooperation and its positive achievements, particularly throughout the year 2025, while emphasizing the importance of expanding the exchange of experience and expertise into other areas of common interest, the statement noted.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for both parties to agree on the activities to be included in the cooperation program for the year 2026.
The session of the Morocco–France Joint Military Commission, considered an important milestone in the strategic dialogue between the two armed forces, aims to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and align strategic approaches to security and technological challenges.
It also seeks to strengthen bilateral military cooperation in various fields, particularly joint training and exercises, the statement concluded.
