Agri-Food Industry: FENAGRI takes part in the ISM World Trade Fair in Cologne, Germany

The National Federation of the Agri-Food Industry (FENAGRI) marked its first participation in the ISM trade fair in Cologne, Germany, a key global event for professionals in the biscuits, chocolates and confectionery (BCC) sector. The 2026 edition is being held from February 1 to 4.

On this occasion, the Morocco pavilion, covering an area of 80 square meters, brought together around ten Moroccan agri-food companies showcasing the best of national production in the BCC sector, FENAGRI said in a statement.

This rich and diverse showcase highlighted the quality, authenticity and variety of Moroccan know-how, confirming the Kingdom’s ability to meet the requirements of international markets.

Through this first presence at ISM Cologne, FENAGRI has set several major objectives, including strengthening the international visibility of Morocco’s BCC sector, prospecting for new market opportunities and expanding its export customer base.

This participation also aims to promote the quality and competitiveness of Made in Morocco products and to identify industrial and technological partnerships in order to support innovation and value upgrading.

In this context, the Morocco pavilion serves as a meeting space for buyers, importers, distributors and leading international stakeholders. The interest shown in Moroccan products confirms Morocco’s upward momentum in the global BCC market, driven by a competitive offering, strengthened quality standards and a well-appreciated product identity.

The expected outcomes for FENAGRI are significant, particularly in terms of progress in commercial negotiations, the conclusion of new agreements, prospects for cooperation and the consolidation of international networks, all of which could strengthen Morocco’s presence in new markets in the coming months.

This participation also enables FENAGRI to reaffirm its commitment to supporting national companies in their international development, with the ambition of sustainably consolidating the position of Made in Morocco on major global economic stages.
