In a new demonstration of the strength of Moroccan-American relations, Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, was received this Tuesday in Washington by Mr. Mike Waltz, National Security Advisor to the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
This high-level meeting, held in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect, is part of the positive momentum of a Multidimensional Strategic Partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States of America. It once again highlights Morocco’s central role as a stable, reliable, and influential ally on the international stage, particularly in matters related to peace, security, and sustainable development.
During their discussions, Mr. Bourita and Mr. Waltz reviewed the main areas of bilateral cooperation, ranging from regional security and counterterrorism to economic opportunities and climate-related issues. The two parties also addressed major regional issues of common interest, reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening strategic coordination on sensitive matters, particularly in the Middle East, North Africa and SAHEL.
This meeting further enhances the diplomatic stature of the Kingdom, thanks to the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who has made Moroccan diplomacy a key instrument of development and influence in the service of peace and dialogue among nations.
Through his presence in Washington and the quality of his talks with top American officials, Nasser Bourita once again confirms Morocco’s prominent place on the global stage as a strategic partner and a committed actor for a safer and more just world.
