First Session of the Morocco–Burundi Joint Cooperation Commission Held in Rabat

This first Joint Commission is expected to give new momentum to further strengthen the ties between Morocco and Burundi.

In this context, the two ministers signed ten cooperation agreements covering various fields, including finance, energy, infrastructure, agriculture, health, tourism, vocational training, academic scholarships and knowledge sharing, education, training, decentralization, and local governance. They also signed a new cooperation roadmap for the 2025–2027 period, which encompasses several sectors of activity.

Both ministers also welcomed the quality of the privileged bilateral relations between Morocco and Burundi, which are marked by brotherhood and friendship, thanks to the far-sighted leadership of the two Heads of State: His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and His Excellency Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Burundi.
