Under HM King Mohammed VI leadership, Morocco proved ability to confront security challenges, foster security and stability, Interpol Pdt

Speaking at the opening of the 6th edition of the Open Days of the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN), which runs through May 21, Al-Raisi emphasized that Morocco’s security system is advanced, adding that its actions are marked by efficiency, professionalism, and respect for human rights.

The official emphasized that His Majesty King Mohammed VI continues to pay particular attention to strengthening security efforts within the Kingdom, as well as at the regional and international levels.

As an active member of Interpol for nearly seven decades, Morocco has played a pivotal role in supporting numerous security projects and initiatives worldwide, Al-Raisi noted, adding that the Kingdom’s efforts have contributed to strengthening international cooperation mechanisms in security matters, particularly in the fight against migrant, human, and drug trafficking networks, as well as in the fight against terrorism and organized crime.

In this regard, the Interpol President stated that the selection of Police Prefect Mohamed Dkhissi as Interpol Vice President for Africa reflects the growing international confidence in the competence of Moroccan security officials and shows the prestigious position held by the Kingdom’s security services internationally.

Al-Raisi also praised the efforts and preparations made by Morocco to host the 93rd Interpol General Assembly in Marrakech, stressing that this major event is the crowning of a long process of developing Moroccan national security, based on continuous modernization, reform, and rehabilitation.

The 6th edition of the DGSN Open Days opened Friday at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center in El Jadida, under the theme: “Proud to Serve a Thousand-Year-Old Nation and a Glorious Throne.”

This edition reflects the DGSN’s unwavering commitment to consolidating the principles of proximity to citizens and its strong as well as its resolute determination to modernizing and improving the public police service, in accordance with the High Guidelines of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
