Morocco’s Minister Delegate for National Defense Administration Receives Slovak Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense

Currently undertaking a working visit to the Kingdom, the Slovak official was accompanied by a high-level military delegation and senior officials from companies specialized in the defense industry.

On this occasion, the two ministers discussed bilateral and regional issues and explored ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the defense industry, according to a press release from the National Defense Administration.

Loudyi emphasized the defense industry sector in Morocco as one of the strategic fields benefiting from the High Royal Solicitude, recalling that the Kingdom offers an appealing investment climate through a range of incentives for joint collaboration projects in the defense industry.

The Slovak Minister of Defense stressed that this visit is part of reinforcing and diversifying bilateral cooperation between the two countries, and aims to explore investment opportunities in the defense industry, given Morocco’s favorable business climate and strategic position enabling Slovak companies access to the African market.

This meeting was an opportunity to showcase various South-South and regional cooperation initiatives launched under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, making Morocco a dynamic player of stability, progress, and peace for the Eurafrican region.

At the end of this meeting, the two officials voiced their shared ambition and determination to further bolster military cooperation, notably in the field of the defense industry, the press release concluded.
