The meeting provided an opportunity to shed light on the major projects launched by Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, reaffirm the importance of the relations uniting the two countries, and review the ways for their reinforcement, the Lower House said in a press release.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to recall the foundational principle of the Kingdom’s foreign policy, namely the respect of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of States and non-interference in their domestic affairs, highlighting the Kingdom’s assiduous efforts to resolve conflicts in pacific ways and support all regional and international initiatives aimed at establishing peace and security, the same source added.
During the meeting, the two parties underscored the significance of bilateral and multilateral parliamentary relations in reinforcing cooperation between the two countries through sharing parliamentary experiences and expertise, ensuring continuous and efficient communication, exchanging visits, coordinating at the various regional and international parliamentary fora, clarifying views, and exploiting all available opportunities to strengthen relations between the two legislative institutions.
The talks featured the attendance of the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovakia to Rabat, Juraj Tomaga, as well as several officials, advisors, and executives at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Slovakia.
