The meeting took place over a working lunch featuring an open and constructive exchange on shared strategic priorities, according to a Lower House press release.
Discussions focused on regional security issues, particularly in the Sahel and the Atlantic area, as well as efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of security and connectivity. Representative Jackson praised Morocco’s leading role as a reliable partner and key player in continental stability.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further bolster the Morocco-US partnership, through a shared vision based on collective security. The Speaker of the House of Representatives underlined the importance of continuing these regular exchanges in order to deepen parliamentary and strategic dialogue between the two countries.
