Talks highlighted the major structuring projects undertaken by the Kingdom under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, and they underscored the importance of historical, cultural, and diplomatic ties between both countries, grounded in mutual respect, comprehension, and ongoing coordination at the national, regional, and international scales, in the context of respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of States and the non-interference in their internal affairs, the House of Representatives said in a press release.
Emphasis was also placed on the central role of bilateral and multilateral parliamentary ties in strengthening cooperation between the two countries, through the sharing of parliamentary experience and expertise, the exchange of visits, coordination in various regional and international parliamentary fora, and the examination of all opportunities for permanent and effective communication between the two legislative institutions and parliamentarians.
Taking part in the talks were the Chairman of the African Affairs Committee at the Egyptian Parliament Sherif El-Gabaly, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Morocco Ahmed Nehad Abdellatif, as well as several officials and administrative executives from both parties.
