FIFA Unveils Logo for Next Five U17 Women’s World Cup Editions to be Held in Morocco

The competition will feature 24 teams for the first time in the 2025 edition in Morocco, FIFA said in a press release, adding that the logo reflects this new era.

The design incorporates the trophy into the “U” of “U17,” symbolizing the collaboration between FIFA and Morocco. It highlights the ambitions of talented young female footballers determined to pursue their dreams, FIFA said, noting that the modern and dynamic logo honors the legacy of the U-17 Women’s World Cup while looking ahead to the future of women’s football.

The logo will be visible throughout Morocco over the next five years, as the country has been selected to host the tournament annually through 2029, the same source said. FIFA noted that the U-17 Women’s World Cup is a key milestone in the development of the world’s top young players.

Morocco was chosen as host nation due to its longstanding investment in the development of women’s football, FIFA said, emphasizing that this commitment will now be recognized and appreciated globally.

The draw for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025 is scheduled to take place on Wednesday in Rabat.
