Morocco’s Minister Delegate in Charge of Defense Administration Receives Rwanda’s Defense Minister

The visit is part of the consolidation and diversification of bilateral cooperation between the two countries. On this occasion, a military agreement was signed, in the presence of an accompanying high-level delegation currently on a working visit to Morocco, says the Administration in a press release.

The agreement covers cooperation in the fields of training, exercises, logistical support, technical assistance, military health, as well as the exchange of expertise in various areas of common interest. It also seeks to create a joint military commission, which will meet alternately in Rabat and Kigali.

The two military officials stressed the constructive role played by both countries in maintaining stability, security and peace on the African continent, the same source adds.

These talks also shed light on the various South-South cooperation and regional integration initiatives, launched under HM the King’s leadership, and which position Morocco as a dynamic player of stability, security and prosperity for the benefit of the entire continent.

At the close of the meeting, both officials voiced their shared ambition to strengthen friendship ties between the two countries through the implementation of the cooperation agreement signed earlier in the defense area, concludes the press release.
