Ivorian Diplomatic Delegation in Dakhla to Explore Development Momentum

Led by Yves Tadet, First Counsellor at the Ivory Coast Embassy, the delegation, which included several diplomats in charge of economic, social and academic affairs, took a close look at the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region’s potential and investment opportunities in various fields.

In a meeting with Ali Khalil, wali of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region and governor of Oued Eddahab province, Tadet praised the historical ties of friendship, cooperation and brotherhood between Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire, stressing that his country considers Dakhla, where more than 2,500 Ivorians have chosen to settle, to be “an integral part of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco.”

This visit, he continued, was also an opportunity to meet members of the Ivorian community in the region, who enjoy a dignified living environment and pursue their university studies in good conditions.

In addition, the members of the Ivorian delegation followed a presentatioń by a representative of the Regional Investment Center, in which he emphasized the development dynamics experienced by the region in various fields, major infrastructure projects to connect the territory and unleash its potential, as well as investment opportunities in this region.
