Atlas Lions Hold Steady at 12th in FIFA Rankings

At the global level, Argentina retains the top spot, followed by Spain in second place, France third, England fourth, and Brazil rounding out the top five.

On the African front, Morocco continues to assert its dominance, holding firm at 12th place worldwide with 1698.72 points. The Atlas Lions once again confirm their consistency at the summit of African football.

Senegal climbs to 18th in the world, becoming Morocco’s closest continental challenger. Egypt slips slightly to 34th worldwide, ranking third in Africa.

Algeria remains steady at 36th globally and fourth in Africa, while Nigeria loses ground and drops to 44th, now fifth on the continent.

Despite their recent Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) triumph, Côte d’Ivoire falls four places to 45th globally and sits sixth in Africa.

Tunisia holds 49th place in the global standings, ranking seventh among African teams, ahead of Cameroon (51st), Mali (54th), and South Africa (57th), who round out the African top ten.
