This highly promising first half continues the upward trend and confirms the Kingdom’s positioning as a destination of choice, offering encouraging prospects for the remainder of 2025, the Ministry said in a press release.
June contributed significantly to this momentum with 1.7 million arrivals, an 11% rise compared to 2024, making it the best June ever recorded to date, the press release said.
The Ministry added that this positive start to the summer season is expected to bolster the already observed growth, particularly as the summer period traditionally represents a peak in activity for Morocco’s tourism sector.
“These results confirm Morocco’s attractiveness and our ability to draw an increasing number of tourists,” said Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, as quoted in the press release.
“We are entering the second half of the year with two key priorities : strengthening air connectivity and accelerating the development of accommodation and entertainment offerings to meet the expectations of an increasingly demanding clientele,” the minister added.
