Signed by the Managing Director of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, and the Director General of the “Al Maqasid” Hospital, Omar Abu Zayda, the agreement covers the costs of accommodation, lodging and food for patients from the Gaza Strip and those accompanying them for five months, renewable, depending on the situation in the Strip, until the war ends and they could safely make it back home.
On this occasion, the Director General of “Al Maqasid” Hospital expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Morocco, King, government and people, for this generous initiative carried out under the impetus of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, praising the Agency’s constant role in supporting the Holy City, its institutions and its people, as well as the Palestinian people in Gaza and Palestine in general.
Cherkaoui, accompanied by the administrative and medical staff and executives from the Agency’s office in Al-Quds, then visited the hospital’s modernization and reconstruction site, and took note of the accommodation conditions of the Gaza patients and their companions in one of the hotel units in the hospital’s vicinity.
