“We convey our heartfelt thanks to His Majesty the King for all His humanitarian initiatives”, Hamad told MAP, expressing her high esteem for the Sovereign’s invaluable efforts in support of Palestinians’ resilience, particularly the Gazan population, who face difficult living conditions.
This “extremely important” humanitarian aid, she continued, illustrates the steadfast solidarity and unwavering support of Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, for the Palestinian cause.
The Minister also pointed out that “the situation in Gaza remains very difficult”, due to the famine affecting the population, especially children, noting in this respect that Moroccan aid will help meet their needs for medicines and foodstuffs.
In the same vein, she praised the efforts of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency in implementing social projects to support the resilience of Al-Quds inhabitants and vulnerable categories.
Hamad further recalled that the Palestinian Ministry of Social Development had inked a partnership agreement with the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Agency, aimed at providing care for orphaned and amputee children, victims of the aggression against Gaza, while providing them with the necessary psychological assistance.
