Under the theme “The Digitalization Project: Strengthening Local Services for Moroccans Around the World,” the event was chaired by Youssef Benmansour, Secretary General in charge of regional affairs at the wilaya, in the presence of elected officials, civil society actors, and members of the diaspora.
On this occasion, the acting director of the Regional Investment Center (CRI) of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, Ahmed Kathir, stated that this year’s theme reflects the commitment to accelerate the digitalization of public services to improve accessibility and strengthen ties between citizens and the administration, in line with the High Royal Directives.
While stressing the deep bonds uniting Moroccans abroad with their homeland, Mr. Kathir announced the opening of an investment desk dedicated to the diaspora. This integrated support space will provide personalized reception, initial guidance, facilitation of administrative procedures, and post-creation follow-up, ensuring the sustainability of projects.
He also reaffirmed the CRI’s commitment to mobilize all resources, in collaboration with public institutions, to make Dakhla-Oued Eddahab a preferred investment destination for Moroccans around the world, as well as a platform for innovative solutions that create value, generate jobs, and contribute to the region’s continental influence.
In their remarks, several members of the diaspora praised the major projects launched in the region thanks to the Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which have enabled Dakhla-Oued Eddahab to establish itself as an attractive hub for both Moroccan and foreign investors.
They also expressed their strong determination to take part in this momentum by developing projects across various productive sectors.
