In statements to the press following the reception held in their honor on Monday at the Royal Palace in Tetouan by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, on behalf of His Majesty the King, the children from Al-Quds expressed their pride in this reception, noting that it was a rich cultural and human experience that allowed them to discover the Kingdom’s civilization and its centuries-old history.
In this regard, supervisor Baseem El Manaa noted that this edition of the summer camps, named “Harat Al Maghariba,” hosted 50 children from Al-Quds who had the opportunity to explore a new culture and ancient civilization while visiting several Moroccan cities, including Tangier, Chefchaouen, and Tetouan.
During this 16th edition, the children took part in educational activities, as well as cultural and sports competitions, noted fellow supervisor Sara Amouri.
Expressing their gratitude for the sincere solidarity and warm welcome of the Moroccan people, the participating children stated that this edition allowed them to become familiar with Moroccan customs and traditions. They emphasized that this experience, due to its profound human dimension, will remain etched in their memories.
Held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, this initiative of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency reflects the Sovereign’s constant support for the Holy City and its inhabitants.
It reinforces the Agency’s mission, dedicated to supporting the Holy City of Al-Quds and its residents through numerous projects with significant impact on the population of Al-Quds, particularly women, children, and vulnerable groups.
Like previous editions, the 16th summer camp of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, held on August 10-26, benefits 50 Al-Quds children (girls and boys) aged 11 to 14, accompanied by five supervisors from the Holy City.
This edition featured educational excursions, cultural and sports competitions, and cultural visits alongside Moroccan children.
