This meeting, held within the framework of the farsighted vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, served to assess the progress made and to define concrete steps to bring this structuring project to life. The Royal Initiative stands as a strategic lever to strengthen regional integration, boost intra-African trade, and open new development opportunities for the landlocked countries of the Sahel.

The ministers in attendance praised the relevance and ambition of this Initiative, which highlights Morocco’s pioneering role in promoting South-South cooperation and building an African space rooted in solidarity, prosperity and forward-looking partnership. They reaffirmed their commitment to working together, in a spirit of partnership and shared responsibility, to accelerate the implementation of projects linked to logistics corridors, transport infrastructure and joint investments.

The meeting also underscored the geostrategic scope of the Initiative, which is set to transform the Atlantic façade into a space of convergence, stability and shared prosperity for the benefit of the entire African continent.
