A Solemn Tribute to the Memory of the Late HM King Hassan II at the Mohammed V Mausoleum

In an atmosphere of reverence and respect, this commemorative ceremony brought together leading institutional figures to honor the memory of the Builder of modern Morocco and the Architect of the Green March.

Among those present were Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government; Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates; Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior; Mohamed Saad Berrada, Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports; Amine Tahraoui, Minister of Health and Social Protection; as well as Zakia Driouich, Secretary of State in charge of Maritime Fisheries.

Also in attendance were Zineb El Adaoui, President of the Court of Accounts; Abdelilah Benkirane, Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party; Mohamed Salah Tamek, General Delegate for Prison Administration and Reintegration; Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance; along with General Corps Commander Mohamed Haramou, Head of the Royal Gendarmerie.

Charged with strong symbolism, the ceremony offered an opportunity for these officials to express their loyalty and attachment to the legacy of the late Hassan II, whose visionary action continues to inspire today’s Morocco under the enlightened leadership of His worthy Successor, His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
