On the occasion of the adoption, on October 31, 2025, by the United Nations Security Council of Resolution 2797 — which enshrines the Moroccan Autonomy Plan as the only serious and realistic basis for achieving a lasting political settlement to the question of the Moroccan Sahara — we express our pride, our joy, and our unwavering attachment to the national unity and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco.
We extend our sincerest congratulations to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, as well as to the entire Moroccan people, for this historic diplomatic victory that crowns several decades of effort, wisdom, and Royal foresight.
We pay tribute to the exemplary work of Moroccan diplomacy and to the constant commitment of Moroccans around the world in defending the national cause.
We also highlight the reaffirmed support of the French Republic for the Autonomy Plan proposed by Morocco in 2007, as well as for the Kingdom’s sovereignty over its Southern Provinces — a support that is rooted in the historic continuity and exceptional partnership that bind the two nations.
We finally welcome the broad international backing that this initiative continues to receive from numerous friendly countries, convinced of the serious, credible, and realistic nature of the Autonomy Plan.
We extend our most sincere wishes for peace, stability, and prosperity to our Kingdom, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him.
