“We ask Moroccans to continue placing their confidence in a team working to build a strong, fair and emerging Morocco, as envisioned by His Majesty King Mohammed VI,” he said before members and supporters gathered from across the Casablanca-Settat region.
Akhannouch highlighted the significant progress accomplished during the past three years, while acknowledging that the path to a fully transformed Morocco remains ongoing. “Much has been achieved, but there is still a long way to go. We must continue with patience, determination and confidence,” he insisted.
The Head of Government explained that he receives daily feedback from citizens, reflecting both optimism and concern. “Some clearly see the positive changes, while others express legitimate worries, and this deeply matters to us,” he stated.
He emphasized that government action is generating visible impact, particularly in employment. “New opportunities are being created for young people and the economy is regaining strength despite years of drought. Measures taken are beginning to bear fruit, as demonstrated by the decrease in unemployment.”
However, Akhannouch acknowledged that the agricultural sector continues to face difficulties. Despite overall job growth, “agriculture is still losing workers due to seven consecutive years of drought.”
On social sectors, he underscored major advancements, particularly in healthcare. Recent milestones include the inauguration of the Rabat University Hospital Center, the upcoming opening of the Agadir hospital, and the planned creation of a new healthcare complex in the Casablanca-Settat region.
“Health remains our top priority. We are all aware of how critical the state of this sector had become,” he said in front of more than 3,500 attendees.
Akhannouch added that these reforms must translate into tangible improvements in citizens’ daily lives. “Dignity begins with access to healthcare. We will work tirelessly to offer citizens what they deserve. These are not slogans, but a commitment we made in 2021.”
Addressing criticism, he affirmed that the government is not “patching things up,” but rather building a clear and long-term national project. He noted that the finance bill allocates a historic increase in budgets dedicated to education and health.
The RNI president also recalled the responsibility entrusted by voters in the most recent elections. “Moroccans gave us a mandate to improve their lives and build a Morocco of dignity, justice and equal opportunities, in line with the vision of the Sovereign.”
Finally, Akhannouch urged his party’s elected representatives to remain exemplary and honor their commitments. He reiterated several major reforms implemented since the beginning of the mandate, including the generalization of social protection, salary increases benefiting more than four million citizens, and the new housing program that has enabled many families to access decent housing.
