Tourism: 113 Billion Dirhams in Travel Revenues by End of October, Exceeding the Total Recorded in 2024

Over the same period, an exceptional increase was recorded, with more than 16 billion dirhams added, representing a rise of 17% compared to the end of October 2024, the ministry indicated in a statement.

This performance is first explained by the increase in tourist arrivals (+14%) by the end of October, the same source said.

It also reflects the growing appeal of the Moroccan tourism product, which continues to diversify in order to better respond to evolving expectations and preferences of tourists.

“These results confirm our belief: we are not chasing numbers for the sake of numbers. What we are seeking is precisely this type of growth, which generates more foreign currency revenues, and therefore more economic activity and more jobs for Moroccans. And it is this trajectory that we will consolidate starting in 2026,” stated the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, as quoted in the statement.
